FUNDING THE PARISH OF POSTLEBURY

Last year we spent over £80,000 on running the parish and maintaining the church buildings – and this was a year without any major building projects.

We relied on our local  Diocese to subsidise the cost of our full-time vicar with a lot of work across the parish done by volunteers.

We want to be self-sufficient and to keep our churches open and active and to continue our support activities in our communities.

Regular giving each month helps us to budget sensibly and takes the pressure off the volunteers significantly.  We have launched  a “One in a Hundred” appeal to encourage one hundred additional people to set up a regular donation of £10 a month or other amount of choice.
Single gifts and Gifts in Will (legacies) are also very welcome.
